Defected's series of vinyl releases continues to bring some of the label's top digital tracks to wax, showcasing the talents of two influential artists: John Summit from Chicago and the internationally renowned Dutch producer Ferreck Dawn. The four-track EP, part of the fifteenth edition of the series, features standout releases that were previously unavailable on vinyl.

The A-side opens with the summer hit "La Danza," a Latin-infused tech house track that radiates energy, driven by infectious vocals—a signature style from John Summit. Following on the A-side is a dark and compelling remix of "Whisper," originally by Dennis Ferrer & Disciples with vocals from James Yuill. These two tracks highlight Summit's versatility as a producer, showcasing both the light, inviting sound of "La Danza" and the heavier tech house vibe of "Whisper."

The B-side shifts the focus to Ferreck Dawn, presenting collaborations with two well-known dance vocalists from London. "Life," created in collaboration with Izzy Bizu, exemplifies Ferreck Dawn's distinctive vocal house style, exuding summertime vibes while maintaining a cool club atmosphere. The EP concludes with "Back Tomorrow," a club-oriented house collaboration featuring lively percussion, a groovy bassline, and a distinct piano arrangement that contrasts with the haunting vocals of Jem Cooke.
